Council Member

A lifelong resident of Corona, Queens, Francisco began organizing in his community at the age of 15, when he and a group of concerned neighbors started the Corona Gardens Neighborhood Association, organizing members of the community and working to improve quality of life. As a community organizer, Assemblyman and now a City Council Member, Moya has been a stalwart champion for working-class and immigrant families and continuously fought to improve the quality of life for his community.

Catalina Cruz has the privilege of representing New York State Assembly District 39, the most diverse district in the nation, which encompasses the neighborhoods of Corona, Elmhurst and Jackson Heights.Catalina has committed her career to fighting for our community and to ensure our workers, neighbors and families not only survive, but thrive.

Jessica Ramos

State Senator 

Jessica Ramos has spent her life fighting for working families, advocating for labor, and organizing her local community. Most recently, Jessica served as Director of Latino Media for the City of New York. As the city’s chief Latina spokesperson, Jessica helped keep our city’s 1.87 million Spanish-speaking residents, and the community and ethnic media at large, informed about government services and initiatives.
