Dear Parents/PS 28 Family,

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Bethania Garcia and I am the new parent coordinator for PS 28. I would like to share a little bit of my background to give you a better understanding of who I am. I am a Bilingual Guidance Counselor major. Up until recently I worked at this school as a family worker, assisting the school Psychologist Ms. Norma Claros. I am from the Dominican Republic and live in Queens.
Parents, I do understand your perspective, and as a professional I am here to help, I am flexible, patient, genuine and understanding. I look forward to working with our school community and providing you with the best service and support.
